The Portrait Session

    Step 1

    Let Christian know you’re interested and tell him a little about the subject and your general location. After that…

    Step 2

    He will complete a complimentary consultation with you to get an idea of your specific concepts. You’ll talk about shooting locations as well as dates before the next step…

    Step 3

    Now we begin the creation process. Whether it’s one single portrait session with your subject, or multiple shoots that end with a finished concept discussed previously.

    Part of the creation process is photo retouching where many days are spent meticulously working on every aspect of the images to create a true work of art. After the creation process…

    Step 4

    The Viewing Session. Here, we meet again either in person or virtually, to reveal what we’ve created in Step 3. This is usually the first time you’ll have seen everything from step 3 in it’s final format.

    Step 5

    Here the artwork is passed to our printing partners in the UK, where they hand print, hand varnish, hand make and hand frame the artwork to our exacting standards per your request. They then package the pieces and deliver it with great care to me, here in Santa Monica.

    Once we’ve checked all the artwork, we then deliver it right to your door.

  • $60 credit to put towards any wall art from the product guide

    The open frame surrounds the image with a narrow gap between the solid wood frame and image creating the impression that it is levitating. The finishing involved gives us creative freedom to produce a stunning piece of gallery standard wall art.

    THE CAMDEN ACRYLIC TRAY FRAME

    A beautifully textured Fine Art Etch Print is hand coated with a protective giclee varnish protecting against UV and scratches whilst still retaining the sumptuous texture of the Hahnemuhle Fine Art Print, it is then mounted within a stunning tray frame leaving a gap around the edge creating the illusion that it is suspended within the frame.

    THE CANVAS TRAY FRAME

    The Canvas Tray Frame is left open without glass with a Matte Canvas Print sitting flush with the front of the solid wood frame for a beautifully minimalist feel.

    A shadow gap is left between the inside edge of the Tray Frame and the side of the canvas creating a more dramatic version of the negative space provided by a traditional mount.

    Individual files start at $95 and are available in mini-collections of 3, 5, and 10 files only.
